I am SO excited you are here, and I am SO happy to meet you :)

To answer your number one question, WHO IS THIS GIRL, AND WHY DOES SHE HAVE A BLOG? (well....two questions in one;)). My name is Mimi. Here on this blog of mine is where I express myself. 

I am a working mom, as well as a wife. I'm a friend and a sister. I am Haitian, and most of all I am a Christian! 

By the way, I love taking selfies....You have been WARRRRNNNNED!!!!!!! lol

MY GOAL(s):

My goal is to hopefully help someone by providing some uplifting quotes. Sometimes we all need some sort of motivation. Here, you will find some famous quotes and lessons to help you get through the day, or a difficult time.

I will also provide some “basic” instructions of some of my favorite home recipes – especially when it comes to Haitian food; there, I will provide several of my Haitian recipes with a twist!
By the way, my new obsession now is cinnamon!!!

Also, included is what I call “Free Talk”. With Free Talk, we will discuss anything and everything. You may get a piece of my likes and dislikes, ideas for date nights, girls night, balancing mommy mode and wife mode, articles I may find interesting, and anything and everything in between ;)!

I also have a section called Looks/Shopping. Under this page you will find my Polyvore creations, as well as some other products to include clothing, beauty, home, items for the kids, etc. from various stores.

I am not perfect, neither do I expect or pretend to be. I'm not a beauty queen nor a guru. I'm not a life coach or a professional cook/chef. I simply love being in the kitchen creating meals for my family and friends. I love to laugh and have a good time. With that being said, being silly (or different) is not a problem for me.
